Luna — a blind husky with main-character energy
Luna is 5 years old, fully grown, and fully fabulous. 

She’s also fully blind — but you wouldn’t know it by the way she moves.

Luna might not have her sight but she has vision. She walks through the world with confidence and grace. She knows where she wants to go. People constantly ask if she’s really blind because she moves so effortlessly.

Yes — she’s really blind.

And yes — she’s unbelievably beautiful.

But Luna isn’t delicate. She’s very much a husky. Bold, independent, expressive, social and perfectly capable of deciding what she wants and when she wants it. 

Activity level wise, she’s very adventurous but also knows when to chill. She's an excellent hiking partner and she actually enjoys car rides. You can take her everywhere! Luna loves people and behaves beautifully in social situations. 

A home with a yard to call her own would be great for Luna. She would thrive in a natural, slightly wild but still predictable space. Not open land, or actual wilderness. More like something contained and controlled, but still ample and welcoming of wild life. She enjoys sitting by nature and just listening in.

Luna bonds deeply with her person, and she also values her autonomy. Before thinking of Luna as a blind dog, remember: she’s a husky first. That’s really what you should be prepared for.
