Nellie is a loving girl, looking for a calm home where she can relax. Nellie was in Ohio when she lost her owner at the end of Feb 2025. She has been with a foster in middle Tennessee since April 2025. She does not seem to have any vision and is likely completely blind. She was born with sight, but has been blind for 3 or so years according to vet records.

She loves her head and back stroked but doesn’t like her ears and tail touched. She likes to know you are near and will seek your attention at times by coming to stand near you.

She is a good house guest and does not bother items around the house. She does not get on the furniture.
She enjoys being outside and does best when she can explore a fenced yard off leash.
