Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Available for adoption!
Jessie is a very sweet boy with an unknown history. He was found as a stray and brought to the local shelter. The shelter was very scary for him, and he became depressed and stopped eating. Luckily, he found a foster home and is doing well! Jessie is now ready for his adoptive home.
Jessie's foster mom says even though he's not a cuddler, he loves attention, and loves to be petted and stroked. He also loves toys, and one of his favorite games is to take all of his toys out of his toy box for his foster mom to put away! He also loves to chew Kong toys.
Jessie is very quiet and rarely barks. He's not a fan of storms, though, and will give a low bark when he hears thunder, just in case you didn't know there was a storm! He IS a fan of neighbors! He loves greeting his neighbors (both people and other dogs!) through the fence.
Jessie does very well with other dogs, and a home with other dogs is recommended because he loves to play. In the beginning, he was curious about the two cats he lives with, but is now great with them.
Jessie's foster mom calls Jessie a very "considerate" dog. He's a gentle boy and does not push or play rough with the two other dogs in the home.
If you're interested in adding Jessie to your family, please fill out an application today. He can't wait to have his very own family!
