Tess

Schnauzer/Terrier
Available for Adoption!

Tess is a very sweet, brave and spunky gal. She is a miniature Schnauzer-terrier mix with a funny little underbite that absolutely puts on full display her comical, determined nature. She has adapted to her blindness and moves about indoors carefully. Once outdoors and free of obstacles, she enjoys a playful frolic in the yard. She will go round and round like a carousel pony. She has the cutest little trot and it becomes more adorable when she throws in her little springy-jumpy move. (See Tess video)

Tess isn’t afraid to let you know that she doesn’t like being away from her human. She will bark until she finds you and then greets you so happily with kisses and a waggly tail. Her favorite spots are next to her person on the sofa or snuggling in her cozy dog bed amongst soft blankets nearby. She is a pleasant mix of relaxed cuddling and moderate energy.

Although Tess is not needy, she feels more secure when her person is around. She would be a delightful companion for a retired couple or someone who works at home so that she wouldn’t be alone for long periods during the day. She also does well in a car, so would be happy to go along on your travels.
